Notice regarding review of development structure for pickups and audio equipment

Nekodamari Kobo Co., Ltd. has previously outsourced some of its development and testing work, but we are pleased to announce that we have reviewed our structure and will be developing our pickup and audio equipment development environment entirely in-house.

■ Impact of the organizational review

Due to a restructuring, all old effector and pickup products will be discontinued.

In addition, we are gradually making all public videos, photos, related materials, etc. produced through outsourced work private or deleting them.

Products released or announced after November 2023 are developed and produced by Nekodamari Kobo Co., Ltd., and there are no related parties involved.

The old series will be reviewed and the new series is scheduled to be released after November 2023.

There will be no change to the current procedures for repairs, maintenance, and response to defects.

*1 A new series is planned for renewal. It is currently under development with the price remaining the same (set: 13,200 yen).

*2 The old specifications will be discontinued, but the naming will remain the same.

■About the new pickup series

For more information, please see the information at the time of release. The series is planned to have the following general structure:

・Vintage series

・A series that uses rare materials and compositions

・Entry model series

Although there will be minor divergences, we plan to develop pickup products for all models, focusing on the above three series.
Due to changes in our distribution network, we are now able to develop products starting from a single item, and we are also preparing to be able to handle a wide range of pickups of special specifications with little compatibility.
